SketchCast / Meet SK
Hi, I'm SK. Ask me anything.
SK is the guide built into SketchCast. It explains a lesson, finds a chapter, assigns work and walks you round your workspace. Talk to it the way you'd talk to the colleague down the corridor.
In-app SK: early access
One SK four hats
It knows who's asking.
SK only helps with what your role should see. A student's SK can't open the teacher's marks, and a parent's SK only knows about their own children.
Which assignments are due this week?
Three: Ch. 4 worksheet (Fri), Ch. 3 quiz (Wed), and the lab report (Thu).
I don't get photosynthesis.
Let's take it in two steps. First, what does a plant need?
Where can I see Aisha's quiz?
Under Aisha → Results. She scored 6/10 on fractions.
How is Form 2 doing this week?
86% of work completed, up 6%. 12 students are on the follow-up list.
How SK behaves
A good teacher's habits, built in.
Teaches, never reads
On a slide or a highlight, SK explains in its own words. It doesn't recite the text back at you.
Hold to talk
Press and hold the mic to speak, then let go. Hands-free listening is off unless you switch it on.
Tours on request
A guided walkthrough of your own workspace, which you can replay whenever you like.
Does, not just says
"Assign chapter 4 to 2 Bestari" really does assign it. You see a card for every action it takes.
Honest about recording
Conversations are logged to improve SK, and a notice tells you when that's happening.
Grounded in your book
When a student asks, SK answers from the chapter they're studying.
