SketchCast / For students

Ask it again. And again.

Your lessons, worksheets and quizzes, all from the book your class actually uses. When something doesn't make sense, SK explains it a different way. It never gets tired of the question.

How it works for you

Watch it. Try it. Own it.

01 · WATCH

A lesson made from your book.

Narrated lessons that follow your chapter, with the same figures and examples. Pause, rewind and watch at home.

02 · TRY

Practice that answers back.

Quizzes are marked as soon as you submit, and you get three attempts. Worksheets can be printed or handed in online.

03 · ASK

SK, when it doesn't click.

Hold the mic and ask out loud. SK stays with your chapter and explains instead of just giving you the answer.

Why does a straw look bent in water?

Good question, and it's in your chapter 7. Light slows down when it moves from water into air, so it changes direction. Your eye traces the light back in a straight line, so the straw looks like it's somewhere it isn't.

Can you say that more simply?

Light takes a turn at the water's surface. Your brain doesn't know about the turn, so it guesses wrong. Want to try question 3 on your worksheet now?

SK for students

Early access

A tutor that sticks to your chapter.

SK answers from what your class is learning, not from the whole internet. It explains rather than just handing over answers, so the thinking stays yours.

  • Explains it again, differently. Ask for simpler words as often as you need.
  • Your words, your language. Ask the way you'd ask a friend.
  • Always clear about recording. You'll see a notice whenever a conversation is saved.

Ready when you are

Every question is a way forward.
